2030s You Need To Get On Your Radar- Part 2

Starting strong, we have [player_tooltip player_id='936330' first='Mia' last='Walker'] from Iowa Select. This 6'1 OH turns heads the second she walks on the court. Walker brings another level of intimidation by not only towering over most of her opponents, but also by having a freaky-fast arm and amazing vertical that play to her advantage. Not only is she an asset at the net, but she also knows how to get it done in the back row, doing an exceptional job of reading her hitters, getting her feet to the ball, and working to make herself available for the pipe ball.     Kate Jones is an all-around beast who knows how to score, no matter where you put her on the floor. Jones is a lefty setter who doubles as a nasty oppo when needed. She excels in every skill of the game and still has a very high ceiling. The best thing about Kate is her ability to contribute to her team in any way she can, whether it's setting and running an offense or hitting and throwing up a solid block. I am very excited to see how she continues to contribute to the Regina program this fall.     Czarnecki is a player that you don't want to underestimate. She doesn't look all that intimidating at first, but once she hits the court, a switch is made. After Czarnecki gets going, there's no stopping her, and she'll find a way to put the ball away. Ella's most impressive skill is her nasty and unexpected cut shots that she can utilize from anywhere on the court. If you're looking for a player who can get it done on the net, Ella is the athlete to do it.     Another next-level libero to look at is [player_tooltip player_id='880999' first='Kinsley' last='Needham']. This is a libero who has proven herself time and time again. First, she was the core of Iowa Select 14 Mizuno's back row. Now, she's stepping up to the plate as a promising piece of Assumption's back row. Needham does an exceptional job staying disciplined on serve receive and defense by reading her opponents, getting herself in the best position to pass, and focusing on getting her setter a good first-contact ball.     [player_tooltip player_id='993649' first='Abby' last='Roling'] shows another level of assertiveness while on the court. The MB from Wahlert knows how to put up an unbeatable block across the net. What helps Abby stand out is how disciplined she stays on her block. She does this by staying patient, reading her hitters, and making quick and efficient lateral movements. [player_tooltip player_id='993649' first='Abby' last='Roling'] is definitely a name you will be hearing more of throughout the next year.     [player_tooltip player_id='1017559' first='Isabelle' last='Coreas'] is a dominating presence in the back row and plays with another level of fearlessness. From a DS standpoint, Coreas stands out by reading her opponents exceptionally well, along with her quick reaction to hard-driven balls. She leads with aggression and grit and knows how to get after the ball. Aside from her skill set, Coreas is a great leader and an even better teammate who is always a fun one to watch.     I first saw [player_tooltip player_id='1017856' first='Ella' last='Beason'] this past club season and right off the bat, was extremely impressed with this girl's versatility. When I say she was quite literally doing it all, that's not an exaggeration. Not only was she doing everything, but she was doing everything exceptionally well. She was able to put the ball away all across the net, got her fair share of blocks, and held her own in the back row. If Beason continues to grow in height and in skill, she's going to be lethal.     [player_tooltip player_id='1004306' first='Olivia' last='Schaefer'] is another player who has already done an amazing job making her mark, but still has so much more growth in her. Schaefer wastes no time keeping her blockers on their toes by running a variety of quick plays across the net. She does a fantastic job of adjusting and still manages to get an aggressive touch on all of her sets. Seeing the level Schaefer is at now makes you even more excited to see how she progresses throughout the years.     Gaffey always leaves tournaments as a fan favorite, and there's no question why. Not only is she an all-around, well-rounded player, but she also brings the energy every time she steps on the court. The six-rotation outside is a staple for Iowa United and is the epitome of a leader. She is one of those kids that her teammates look up to with another level of respect. Gaffey knows how to get the job done, playing with a high IQ and awareness that puts her above most.     [player_tooltip player_id='945046' first='Maleah' last='Porter'] isn't the tallest hitter on the court, but she still finds a way to set herself apart from other freshmen. She does this with her powerful swing and court awareness as a six-rotation pin. Porter is a reliable option from all over the court and does a good job of holding her own on defense. She is scrappy and has a go mentality, which results in her refusing to let a ball drop. She can truly fill in wherever she is needed and plays with a team-first mentality.
