A member of our Class of 2025 State Rankings Watchlist, Morton plays for private powerhouse Fort Bend Christian High School and club for Katy United 17 Adidas. Very long and explosive, she’s typically among the top offensive weapons of her team and delivers well, scoring with consistency. Morton is extremely versatile too and has played on the right, the left and the middle over the last couple of years. Blocking is another big part of her game as she gets off the floor well and puts her arms in the way of opposing hitters to get stops.

Although her team Houston Stellar 17 Elite was one of the deepest in the division and used every piece extremely well, Morton was one of their individual standouts. She displayed, once again, a very strong offensive game, combining power, athleticism, finesse and very good decision-making. Perhaps more important than that, Morton was very consistent with her production. She also did a very good job with her blocking, creating issues to opposing hitters.

Morton has been with us at one of our recent Prep Dig Top 250 Expos in Houston and she clearly continues to make a great impression with her club team Houston Stellar 17 Elite, even playing one age group up. She has excellent physical tools to work with, standing at six feet and having long arms, but also works really hard on the court. Her game is really smooth and her offense is very diversified, going from hard hits to smart tips and roll shots. She also makes great impact with her blocking, using her long arms to press opposing hitters and channel their swings.

Morton was one of the smoothest rights sides on the event as she showed great ability to perform in different areas of the game. Her offense is very complete as she’s a good jumper who can hit anywhere on the court, but also displayed tremendous vision and great range with her wrist. Morton’s blocking is solid too as she uses her long arms and great timing well and that became even more evident when she played middle on some drills. She was also one of the more active and engaged players on the defensive drills early on.
