Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
White’s game-changing impact is undeniable. Her explosiveness and versatility pushed Premier Nebraska 17 Gold past the finish line to earn an Open bid through the Northern Lights Qualifier. One of White’s biggest strengths is her ability to execute combination plays and be a lethal scorer on the ‘2-ball’ in the middle. Her versatility has been an indispensable part of 17 Gold’s offense, and we can’t wait to see White flourish again at USAV Nationals.

White was as explosive as we remember from the end of her 2024 high school campaign. Premier Nebraska 17 Gold finds any way to get their star opposite involved in the offense, which often involves routing White in front of the setter. The Omaha Skutt Catholic junior hits the inside ‘2’ ball as well as any opposite in Nebraska’s 2026 class. Opposing blockers have a lot to consider whenever White rotates into the frontcourt, and we’re ready to see this game-changing versatility on the qualifier stage.

White distinguished herself as one of the most dynamic, explosive opposites at this year’s state tournament. She lit up the scoreboard with nearly 300 kills in the regular season, but White did a lot more than you’d expect from a right-side hitter. The Skutt Catholic junior also carried a significant role in the serve-receive pattern and played excellent right-back defense throughout the postseason. She will now team up with Liebsack on Premier 17 Gold to give the team an exceptional pin-to-pin offense.

How about this for drama? Premier Nebraska 16 Gold was down 14-11 in the third set of its pool match against NC Academy. The team mounted a furious late charge to bring the set to deuce, and a hero emerged from behind the service line. White, a dynamic opposite known for her terminal frontcourt presence, delivered the winning ace for a 17-15 triumph. This comeback was a major catalyst in keeping 16 Gold amongst the top group in 16 Open. White will be ready to deliver more clutch moments.

Our early scouting report on White had her as a middle blocker. This was her primary position during her debut season with Omaha Skutt Catholic, but the narrative has shifted through her club experience. White has entrenched herself on the right side with Premier 16 Gold and is finding her rhythm behind the setter. She brings a rare combination of quickness and athleticism that allows her to negate any hands in front of her. 16 Gold’s Open triumph at the Show Me Qualifier was a stark reminder of White’s high ceiling along the net.

Skutt Catholic regularly deployed a pair of opposites this year, so there are options available here. We’re going with White, the high-flying sophomore who has also spent some time at middle blocker in past seasons. The SkyHawks leaned on White early and often in the postseason as she quickly climbed toward 200 total kills on the year. Aside from her ability to terminate, White brings unmatched energy that fits the kind of on-court persona that Skutt Catholic is known for.
