About Alyssa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an energetic player! I like to talk, read the court, and problem solve in the moment. I'm definitely an offensive player and like to look for ways to finish the point (in our favor, of course)!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am really outgoing and most of the time have a smile on my face! I take competition very seriously and do appreciate the same in others.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Special Olympics (my brother is an athlete and I help with his teams when I can). I am a member of the National Honor Society for my highschool. I participate in outreach events with TOPs.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am comfortable in a leadership role and really do enjoy being a part of activities (athletic, social or in service). I am kind and do give thought to others feelings and opinions.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge that I face is in establishing my own person and identity. I am a twin! We play volleyball together (school, club and beach) and compete as doubles tennis partners.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to both small and large campuses. I haven't yet decided a preference.
