Bray (pictured) more than makes sure opponents have to watch her with her size and tough lefthanded cut shots. Depending on where blockers place themselves, Bray makes great in-air adjustments. It helps that the setters know where to place balls not only for Bray, but the teammates to be successful. Bray also uses her athleticism to put up solid double blocks. She’ll only improve more this club season.

Gabby makes a difference on the court. She is imposing size wise but brings that added respect at the net that makes the opposition pay more attention. With a strong left handed swing that she utilizes she has honed her skills to place a crafty cross court shot, hit down the line or give a well placed tip. She has become one to watch on the court. She puts up solid blocks, and makes the opponents pins think twice about their swing. She stepped up with great play and craftiness for her team. Looking forward to see her club play.

Gabby is a left handed workhorse! She brings her game, she is powerful and a gamechanger on the court. Gabby eats up the court with her size, strength and her enthusiastic play! She is all in and it shows in every set! She gives herself plenty of room for her powerful attack releasing a huge left-handed swing with excellent contact and downward trajectory. She can bring the opposing backrow to their knees from that hefty swing, but she can also dial it back and tip as stealthily as it gets for the point with excellent ball control and placement hitting the seams. We loved that she came with a raging attack, got blocked and came right back with another beautiful raging successful attack holding nothing back, relentless and devout. She is confident in her play with excellent form & vertical on her block, solo or in pairs. She yells for that ball and wants every chance to make it happen, all the while she supports her teammates, covers well and has the reflexes to get one up off the block. She shows great court IQ with absolute hunger to make plays happen and is blazing a successful path for herself forward! Not a single doubt she won’t get there!

Bray had a number of big kills for her club team and it has continued in the fall. She has a good wrist snap allowing her to pound balls to the floor. She can hit off blocks and even power through some. Bray mixes in soft and hard shots well. Bray also forms sound double teams.

Bray packs a powerful punch at the front net that sound defensive specialists have a hard time digging up. Her shots to the far corners and shoves to shallow sidelines make her tough to defend. Bray is also very energetic on the court and sends free balls over with a purpose. Bray said she’s been working on following though on her hits, seeing where blockers are and placing balls in holes.

Bray hopes to have that breakthrough season this fall. She is showing good signs for A.61 during the club season. She pounds balls down on a regular basis. Bray can take swings from all six spots on the court and make sound passes. Bray has also developed sound blocking skills.
