Miss Clegg has made a big splash this past year and we have chosen to move her up in the State Rankings in this update.  She is now currently ranked as the 15^th best overall player and third best right side according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays volleyball for Walnut Grove High School and also plays for the MadFrog volleyball club program.  What stands out in her game is how she is able to play any position along the front row at an elite level.  She is a top tier blocker who moves so fast laterally to close the block out.  She sets her outside foot perfectly toward the opposing attackers midline and jumps to press over with elite timing.  The hitter is then forced to try to hit around her because of her spacing.  This really sets the tone for the defense to be able to play around her.  As an attacker, she has tremendous power when she connects on the ball.  Armed with the ability to turn on the ball and hit down the line with power and cut the ball sharply around the block, she is a very talented attacker.  We know what this young lady is capable of on the volleyball court and hopefully every college coach is paying attention as well, because she can really be a star at the next level in a few years.  Please help us congratulate her on moving up in our prestigious State Rankings. 

Clegg stood out for the Madfrog 15 N Green that tied for fifth with a strong campaign of six wins and one loss. This team has a clear leading scorer in star outside hitter Maya Ogbogu Maya Ogbogu 6'0" | OH Allen | 2028 State TX , but Clegg played a major role for them on the right. She served as a secondary scoring option for the team and thrived in that role, playing with great consistency. A six-footer, she’s very long and uses every inch of her body to make contact with the ball at the highest possible point. Clegg’s shot selection was also excellent as she was very consistent and kept her errors very low, even in out-of-system plays. She also contributed with her big and efficient blocking.
