About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very consistent in serve receive, read the hitter/block well for defense positioning, am an aggressive server, and (if playing DS) a strong hitter.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am confident and adaptable on the court, regardless of the position I play. I have a strong work ethic and team first mentality.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in the National Honors Art Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I have received many academic achievement awards in science, world languages and art.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong communication skills as a leader on and off the court. I have recently served at the AR Food Bank which allowed me to learn more about the needs of my community.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to a variety of colleges with volleyball teams that have a cohesive team-first mentality.
