Hickman was impressed with Andersson’s balance on blocks, working with her middles and offensively, her patience, her approach and the versatility of her shot selection.

Having watched Piper the last two seasons with EVA (playing up both as a 15 and 16), she continues to impress with her attitude and work ethic. She is playing for the first time in three weeks after being injured. You would never know it. The left-handed standout creates difficult attacking angles and has the ability to contribute in the back-row as well. Her ability to attack line, deep cross, tip, and defend makes her one to keep an eye on.

She maintained balance on her block closely, collaborated well with her middle to take away the seam, and trusted her hands rather than reaching over the net. Offensively, she was patient. She kept her approach, stayed behind the ball, and made changes based on what the block presented. Andersson is a crafty left handed hitter. She does a great job at swinging thumb up to swing line. She also does a pretty great job at swinging high above the block and hitting deep into the court. Anderrson put up great numbers for her Little Rock Christian Academy team this year in school volleyball and will continue doing so for her EVA 17 Elite team.

Andersson is a strong lefty right side putting up impressive numbers for her EVA team this past season. She will continue to put up these numbers for LRCA this school season. She is also quite tall for her age making her be a very effective blocker on top of her doing a good job at pressing the block. She does a great job at finding the court to score for her team.

One of her most impressive tools is her sharp cross-court shot, which she executed with confidence and power throughout the event. Piper’s intensity, movement, and ability to score from the pin make her a serious offensive weapon with next-level potential.
