Baker had a coming-out party this season and helped bring power, energy, and a terrific block to an already-loaded Curtis team. Her contributions were part of the reason the Bears held up the first-place trophy, and nothing pumped up the team more than when Baker roofed a ball straight down for a point. She was on point at the state and had two more years to chase another title.

Ooms helped push Rainier to a state trophy, and the 2027 outside has the speed, strength, and power to play above the net. She is wiry and fast on the court, chasing balls down on defense and taking swings from every angle. She has grown up with the game, and her court sense and athleticism combined this season, allowing her, at times, to take over matches. Ooms will look to develop and refine her game even more during the club season with Dakine.
