The initial national rankings came right before these athletes officially started their recruiting process on June 15, 2024. We've added more athletes, we're now up to 175 total with just over 30 athletes uncommitted. Who has been rising in the last nine months. Here are a few who have caught our eye and have made a move in the rankings.

Taylor Stanley is a homegrown Jayhawk where she gave her verbal commit to play for Kansas this summer. She is now playing for KC Power and was able to do some really special things at Triple Crown where she has the ability to be a six rotation right side. Her high contact point allows her to hit a variety of angles and shots which makes her so tough to defend. The upside for her is exciting and will be a key piece to build around in this next group of Jayhawks that will be led by new coach Matt Ullmer in Lawrence.

This Penn State recruiting class is stacked. Kendall Northern out of Elevation in Ohio has been putting on some dazzling performances all season. At Central Zone, she was a key piece to their success where she can make something out of nothing in the middle. The ability she has to close the block, get out in transition and score points of a variety of tempos is special. When she has the ability to attack off of one foot, it is essentially a cheat code. Her speed and athleticism will translate well to Penn State where they will be looking to continue their success, building off their 2024 national championship.

Another Penn State commit who has been having quite the club season is Danielle Whitmire who has been a star for TAV 17 Black Jon. The setter/right side combo player has been key for her team where they took home the title at Triple Crown and claimed their 17 Open bid by going 10-0. What is special about Whitmire is her ability to win - she just gets it done. Teams have to be so disciplined defending her with the ability to jump set and swing or jump set to one of her attackers. As an attacker and setter combo type player, she is such a weapon for her team. She will be next in line as a setter behind Freshman of the Year Izzy Starck at Penn State.

Laura Eichert put on quite a show that had everyone talking about the team from the PNW. NPJ 18 Forefront was a gold bracket team at Triple Crown with Eichert being a key point scorer from the outside. She preps at Lake Stevens High School in Washington and will be taking her volleyball skills to San Diego. She has a solid, fundamental skill set where she can serve receive, defend, and score points at an extremely high level. She is a high flyer that is able to adjust to what the defense is giving her. Whether she is in or out of system, there is a special ability for her to score at a high volume.

There is nothing loud or extra about the game of Milly McGee, I mean that in the best way possible. She is the cool, calm, and collected setter for SCVC who was a key part of their 16 Open National Championship run in July. There is a certain “X-Factor” about her where she knows how to compete and win at a high level. She has plenty of attackers to distribute to, but above all she knows the right matchup at the right time. She will be staying in Southern California and head to USC who is building a monster of a program with some of the recruits they have coming in.

The MN Select 17-1 squad has quite the roster of athletes heading to some big time programs following high school. The top libero in the Minnesota Class of 2026 is Sidney Burley, she brings plenty of athleticism and physicality at the libero position where she can make the tough play routine and the routine plays are effortless. She will be heading to Kentucky who is another program making a lot of waves in this Class of 2026. Kentucky has always done well recruiting the Midwest and this pick up is no different for the Wildcats.

Elle Schara has been that girl for 1st Alliance and making her mark in the state of Indiana. She had a huge year between the club and college courts, making her a top 100 recruit. There is a special ability she has to make the tough shots where she knows how to use the block, hit a zone four to four shot, roll it over the block, or blast away. She was a key add on to 1st Alliance where they went on to finish as the national runner up. The next step following high school for Schara will be down the road from Crown Point, Indiana to Purdue University. Her future could be as a defensive specialist, but she has the chops to take a few swings from anywhere ont he court.
