OVR-Mizuno Bid Day Two Solid Hitters

She does a good job angling balls off hitters and out of bounds or down for big points. Her corner hits are tough. Wiley possesses a sound jump serve and sends free balls across the net with a purpose. Ellis is a reliable hitter in the middle to make big kills when the team needs her. Ellis said her blocking has gotten a lot better. She said it's about timing and pressing over the net. Meister agreed she needs to improve on hitting balls out of system. She's working on going from a slow approach to fast one. She constantly moves her feet and makes plays. Meiring had a big pancake dig in one game Saturday. She also had a number of big swings. She does a great job controlling the net. She sends hard spikes to the back lines. She has a quick arm swing, but her club head coach Erica Ostendorf said she needs to be more consistent.
