Addison Underwood Addison Underwood 6'0" | OH/RS Orange Lutheran | 2029 CA , a 6’0” freshman outside hitter for Orange Lutheran, has already shown the ability to contribute at the varsity level. In 43 sets, she has recorded 99 kills on 264 swings, averaging 2.3 kills per set while hitting .205. Her numbers reflect a young hitter still refining her efficiency but capable of generating offense in volume, using her size and reach to find points against tough competition. Underwood’s production as a ninth grader signals strong upside as she gains experience and develops her decision-making at the net.

With a strong arm swing and the ability to adjust mid-play, she’s a consistent offensive presence who knows when to swing for the line and when to tool the block. “The feeling I get after making a great play or seeing my teammates do something crazy is unbeatable,” she shared. Addison is currently working on defensive footwork to improve her reads and reactions, showing a full-court mindset.

She’s been studying Italian for over two years and dreams of one day playing overseas. Off the court, she enjoys baking for family and friends and hopes to deepen her faith and find a strong circle of support in high school. Volleyball-wise, she’s focused on adding inches to her vertical and continuing to grow as an explosive, high-IQ hitter.
