Hadley made the Junior Varsity for Bishop as a frosh. She shows a good feel for setting moving the ball around to a variety of hitters. Her movement to the ball is quick allowing her to use her hands when making the set. There exists a maturity to her game that is absent from most frosh.

Unfortunately, ahead of her in the pecking order for Bishop are two Metro setters, Carolyn Maria Carolyn Maria 6'1" | S/RS Bishop O'Connell | 2029 State VA , the top setter in the class of 2029 and Natalie Hobson Natalie Hobson 5'8" | S Bishop O'Connell | 2028 State VA , the top setter in the class of 2028. So Hadley may need to play one more year on junior varsity to continue to enhance her game. The biggest challenge for her is not to get discouraged and keep working on her game.

Lots of potential there if she continues to work hard to improve herself. One of those givers who has the presence of mind to shag balls during practice when she is on the sidelines not playing.

When Carolyn got injured during the playoffs last year Hadley did see some time on the varsity. Nothing like the pressure of the playoffs to make your varsity debut.

Hadley shares setting duties with Rachel Bauer Rachel Bauer S/OH Annandale | 2029 State VA . She has a good feel for running an offense, making some crucial dumps in the third set that kept Vienna Elite in the match. She can also hit pretty well from the right side despite her shorter stature of around 5’7″.

This past season Hadley set for the Bishop O’Connell junior varsity. She currently has two Metro setters in Carolyn Maria Carolyn Maria 6'1" | S/RS Bishop O'Connell | 2029 State VA and Natalie Hobson Natalie Hobson 5'8" | S Bishop O'Connell | 2028 State VA to overcome to get varsity time. She certainly has the temperament and the skill set for the position. Now she needs to grab that consistency in location to meet the challenge.
