WI Juniors Grand Slam: 15s That Impressed!

I was able to walk around for 2 days checking out athletes in the 14-18 age divisions and saw some amazing studs. The following players all shined in the 15s division. She has excellent court awareness and makes smart choices while running the offense including when and where to throw down a perfect timed setter dump. She does an excellent job transitioning out, exploding to the pin, and delivering hard cross and line shots. Marciniak also contributes in the backrow. She has a quick first step and excellent read that allows her to track down many out of system balls and pick up tips and dumps. She also creates good angles on serve receive, keeping her team in system so they can run their offense. She has a quick release and high window which allows her to run not only a fast offense, but makes it hard for defenders to read her and keep up with her. Visner is also one of those setters with an excellent setter IQ. She knows who to feed and when and also how to get all of her attackers involved and contributing on the court. Not only is she quick and smart on the court, but she has quite the range. She can terminate the gap set, hit the quick out of the middle, and also attack and dominate from the right pin. Not only is she an offensive weapon, but Pritzl also contributes on the defensive end. She does a solid job on serve receive, plays excellent off blocker defense, and has a good serve. Her attacking is not only explosive, but versatile. Christensen-Bara makes good attacking decisions. She is fast and fluid in everything she does. She has an exceptional read on the ball, knows how to position herself quickly and correctly, and executes with precision. Connor has a high level of hustle and grit and will always go all out on every play to make a save. She is highly effective on blocking, reading the opposing teams setter well, using her solid footwork and quickness to put up an effective block not only in the middle but from pin to pin. Mast is also highly effective on the offense end. She has fast, fluid movements and a lightening fast arm swing which allows her to deliver powerful shots to both corners of the court. Mast is a middle that is going places and I will be sure to keep tabs on her over the rest of the season and well into next year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
