About Avery

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an all-round attacking hitter who bring hustle and energy to both front row and back row play. I am versatile in finding ways to score and stay positive to lift up my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am vocal and energetic player who always wants to win. My mentality is to always keep improving.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an Ambassador at my high school who helps incoming students and families connect with the school and its environment.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing volleyball has helped me build leadership and teamwork skills. As an outside hitter, I’ve had to learn how to communicate with my teammates and stay focused even when things aren’t going our way. I’ve also learned how to stay positive after losses and find a way to bounce back.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that combines a great campus life, volleyball and strong academics.
