The All-Deck Team: 2027 Preseason Squad

My current plan, with the new state format, is to camp out in Hutchinson for the Class 4A and 3A State Tournaments, so chances are, I won't see the Jaguars make their annual trip to the state tournament in Salina. Riggs is ranked No. 1 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. Holton is a short drive, and I love a pregame meal at Boomers Steakhouse &amp; Grill. Wilson is ranked No. two overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. Behr is an All-Star setter whom I enjoy watching compete. I know her high school career is starting to close in, so I hope to see her and the Panthers play this fall. Morgan is a fiery athlete I have seen play a bunch over the past two seasons. She is ranked No. 21 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. She could battle for the top setting position, or Shawnee Heights could use two setters, depending on the roster make-up. Morgan has also been working on her defensive skills for a possible transition to a defensive specialist. I have seen Damme and other Perry players on the club scene, but I hope to catch them in action this fall. I scouted their match at Mill Valley and was impressed by Thi's play. I did not see her this past club season as I tend to focus on 15U and 14U teams during the club campaign. Bryan is a talent I enjoy watching, and I am all about giving shoutouts to small-town kids. She is ranked No. 58 overall in the Kansas Class of 2027. I saw her play as a freshman, but missed seeing the Rams during her sophomore season. I usually catch the Tigers at least once a season, usually in Holton. Maybe this season I will make an extra effort to scout a match in Meridan. Jackson is ranked No. 74 overall by Prep Dig Kansas. I chose Jackson to feature, because I would like to scout a match so I can watch her skill set closer than I have before. The Tigers have multiple players ranked in the Top 50, and I saw three of them a lot this summer at camps and on the club scene, including their top setter. As much as I would love to travel to the Wichita area every week, it's just not financially viable. I would, however, like to catch a Jaguar match so I can see Dare play in person. So far, I have only seen game clips and followed her stats on MaxPreps. Dare is ranked No. 76 overall by Prep Dig Kansas, and I have a suspicious feeling that she is probably underanked.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
