Setters Still Available From The Class Of ‘26

We've wrapped up the “available hitters” portion of the rankings breakdown, so let's spend the next two days covering available ball control artists that can make a difference at the next level. Today's edition focuses on the setters that can run the show on their own in any setting and at any level of play.    Found on Circle's 18 White squad, Mya is THE setter for this squad, and is looking for a home for the fall of ‘26. With high, strong hands, a defense-first mentality and an ability to find the right hitter in the right tempo at all times, Mya is fully capable of playing at the next level as either a 5-1 director (like she will be this club season) or for a larger school looking for a 6-2 complement on someone's setting depth chart. Her ability to be all things and NOT “just a setter” sets her apart from other setters lower in the rankings list.     Capable of setting AND hitting, Evelyn has that athletic vibe to her play, as her attack point is far higher than her 5'8” frame might otherwise indicate, and can locate a ball for her hitters both in- and out-of-system. Seeing a lot of time on TI's 2s teams, Miss Langford is a hybrid athlete that can do a little of both for the next roster she's on.     As part of the Boiler Juniors family, Ava's fully capable of being a multitude of full-time positions involving ball control. Her setting shows her strong hands and consistent location. Her defense (seen mostly as a left-back) puts her read-and-react play into the elite category. Doing both and almost predicting what might happen because of her ball contact is something Miss Tester prides herself on, and can be the must-have role player most college rosters require to be a winning program.     Size and foot speed are what sets Miss Diener apart. She can get to virtually every second contact because of her length, and showed that part of her skill set off regularly this past fall. As an attacker, she's a right side, through and through, and can be that kid that attacks from the front row and sets from the back row, giving a new meaning to the term “modified 6-2”. Looking at her length on the block, she's got an advantage because of her wingspan, which has a significant length advantage over the other setters listed here today.     With 1A First Team all-state honors on her mantle, Olivia is a record-setting setter who can attack too. Although her future looks to be bright in the setting area, she can do both, which shows to her well-rounded skill set. With the ability to do all things for a consistently elite high school program, it becomes obvious why Miss Barber was voted to the first team all-state list multiple times in her storied career at Faith Christian.
