I first came across Gaebel at a club tournament in Rochester last year, and she immediately stood out. The lefty is athletic, explosive, and brings a ton of energy every time she steps on the court. She’s simply fun to watch. As she makes the move to the varsity level at Albany, she’ll have every opportunity to make an impact right away. Albany has built a strong program over the years, and Gaebel has the talent to be another player who helps keep that tradition going.

Gaebel is an aggressive lefty hitter who takes a confident, full swing and thus, consistently applies pressure to the opposing block. She transitions quickly and communicates effectively with her setter, allowing for solid timing between the two. She also is agile and quick which allows her to get to nearly everything sent her way. Overall, she is quick, versatile lefty to have on the right pin that will score routinely for her team.
