Miss Mendoza is a Class of 2028 setter and right side from Allen Academy in Bryan and [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] BCS, is one of the more physically unique setter prospects available in the Texas 2028 class for one simple reason. Kathryn's 6'0" frame creates a setting release point and a net presence that almost no other setter in the state can replicate, and the deception her hand placement creates from that height gives her hitters information that shorter setters simply cannot provide at the same level. Prep Dig scouts specifically noted that her consistent hand placement allows her to be deceptive with her sets and create scoring opportunities, that she keeps blockers guessing with a smooth and balanced offense, and that her decision-making makes her a key playmaker in any rotation. She also contributes from the service line with well-placed aces and stays active defensively rather than treating the back row as downtime, which tells you the full-game investment is real. A 6'0" setter with ball-handling and court vision is an extremely rare find at any level, and the college programs that recognize what that profile projects into at the next level need to be in contact with her immediately. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our Official Watch List.

Taylor is a Class of 2028 setter and right side from Memorial High School in Houston and [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] Volleyball Club. With her height at 5'9", she brings above-average physical tools to her setter role and then when you add her ability to threaten as an attacker from the opposite side while also running the offense is the kind of combination that gives college staffs multiple reasons to evaluate her rather than one. Her footwork to the ball and release mechanics are developing in the right direction and the volleyball processing she brings to the court tells you the game is being studied and not just played. She is playing at one of the premier volleyball clubs in the Houston area who has a history of developing amazing young setters. We will be watching her progress closely and you should also. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our Official Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id='568767' first='Jilian' last='Edwards'], a Class of 2028 setter and right side from Magnolia High School and [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] The Woodlands Volleyball Club, is a two-position player from the greater Houston area whose dual-role skill set gives any college system flexibility that single-position setters cannot provide. Her setting mechanics and distribution reflect a player who understands what her hitters need to be effective, and the right side attacking dimension adds a layer of offensive value that will only become more relevant as her physical development continues. When you watch her hands, you will see that they look like mirror-images of each other and that tells you a lot about her training. You can easily see that she has put so much time and attention into making sure her mechanics are solid as she continues to try to make her dreams of going to the next level come true. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our Official Watch List.
