Another Milwaukee Sting and DSHA athlete to know from the Freshman Showcase is Adley Kowalewski Adley Kowalewski 5'10" | OH/RS Divine Savior Holy Angles | 2030 WI .  I was impressed with her size and physicality at the net.  She is a true pin.  She has mostly played on the right side, but she showed her ability to score on the outside as well.  In a showcase setting these athletes are usually able to show multiple skills at different spots on the court and Kowalewski was a prime example of that with her ability to attack and block on both pins. 

Kowalewski was always talking about what was happening on the court, whether she was in the drill or waiting in line. I only heard positive things from her as she cheered on other players and offered high fives. The other thing I really liked was when I saw her approach the coach to ask questions for clarity on the drill. Not because she wasn’t listening, but because she wanted to make sure she was doing the drill correctly.

Adley Kowalewski Adley Kowalewski 5'10" | OH/RS Divine Savior Holy Angles | 2030 WI made an immediate impression at the UP Next Showcase. As a young hitter, she combines power and smart decision-making, reading blockers and finding open seams with precision. Her approach is quick and efficient, allowing her to generate pace on her swings even against strong defensive coverage.

What stood out most was her volleyball IQ for her age—Adley consistently made smart choices at the net, attacking where the defense wasn’t ready and adjusting mid-rally when needed. She displayed confidence and control, proving she can compete at a high level and handle pressure situations.

Adley is a player to watch in the 2030 class, showing the kind of tools and mindset that can translate quickly to the next level.
