Noticed early for her strength and aggressive approach during position drills, Alanie is consistent and unafraid to attack every play. Her footwork and athleticism show great signs of a developing offensive threat at the net. She moves well, swings big, and will undoubtedly be able to score at will as she progresses in this game.

Her block was active and committed, her attack through the middle was decisive, and the communication she brought to the floor kept her side of the net functioning as a unit rather than a collection of players who had just met. The detail that court coaches kept pointing to was her first step off the net, quick and directionally accurate without the hesitation that shows up in younger middles who are still guessing rather than reading. She never wasted a rep throughout the day and the competitive edge she carried from the opening drill to the final point of the scrimmage was visible to everyone on the floor.
