About Elena

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a solid player. I love the ability to work with my team in a manner to have strategies to earn points. I appreciate feedback from my coaches and work with other team members to work together during our games and practices

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I feel like i am we’ll rounded for my mental preparation for games. I will make a mistake but don’t dwell on it. I listen to my coaches and move on to the next play. i love to support my teammates and be supported by them.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I spend most of my free time with my family and friends. I like to workout outside of the volleyball court. I also play an oboe for my school orchestra. I have a younger sibling whom i always take the opportunity to assist her coaches on the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am the oldest of three and my parents both work. I have learned to take care of them to help out my parents. i will help cook dinners and pick up siblings from sports and school to help out.

What type of college are you looking for?

i appreciate a school where I can be dedicated to volleyball and the structure is more formal. A medium to larger school would be my initial choice but i am open to opportunities that others may be able to give me.

With size and physicality, Elena has had a meteoric rise in her skill set improvement over the past year-plus, and she’s only getting better. Her attack touch is close to ten feet, she can hit any angle with her left arm, and has the size to give opposing attackers pause when she’s blocking. Even her transition foot speed has improved, which proves the diligence she has in the training gym during the most important year of her recruitment.
