About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very consistent with my passing and hitting. I am very strong under pressure in situations on the court. I like to be the game point server! I think my team counts on me in stressful situations. Overall I think I'm fierce and consistent.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very positive player and try to build up my teammates on and off the court. My teammates think I'm funny off of the court:). I like to have fun but I am a really fierce competitor on the court. Overall I believe that my team can count on me under pressure and will look to me in stressful situations.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in my church youth group as well as Honor Society at school. I also volunteer regularly in the kids center as well as the coffee stand on Sundays.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

All Star Team for WA State Seniors - played in All State tourney - voted by HS coach assoc. State bound junior and senior year! 1st Team All Wesco (junior and senior) Captain of Varsity HS Team (junior and senior) Voted Most Inspirational by Team/Coach (junior) Nominated for Athlete of the Week by Everett Sports Herald (Junior and Senior)

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to attend a Christian college where I can earn a degree of some kind (major/minor) in either bible studies or womens'/kids ministries. I'd also like to explore Psychology. I'm hoping to stay on the west coast.

WVBA 17 Adidas made the trek to Orlando for the AUU Championships and finished with a solid 5-5 record playing in the Premier division. Nowak is a 2025 OH prospect with solid length, measuring in at 5’10”. The rising senior from Glacier Peak let it rip from both pins and was also attacking out of the right back from behind the 10″ line. Nowak brought a tough serve and physical blocking to the Sunshine State, displaying a skilled and gritty all-around game.
