Speaking from experience, coaching against Ava Van Hammond Ava Van Hammond 5'8" | S Kimberly | 2026 State WI is stressful. She is an athletic, left handed setter who puts so much pressure on the other side of the net. She is always looking to push the tempo to her middles and can put the ball on the money to her pins. With her ability to jump and swing with her left hand, she is still a dish first setter. She will play for FC Elite 17 Navy this upcoming club season and is someone that I would want to know if I was looking for a 2026 setter.

Ava is very athletic and has a high volleyball IQ. She spreads her offense well and is a natural leader on the court. Her sets are beautiful and consistent.
