Beckering has spent the last few years competing for Class 2AA powerhouse Southwest Christian and club Northern Lights, two programs known for developing high level players and competing against top competition. Looking back, it’s probably an oversight on our part that she hasn’t appeared in the rankings sooner.
Recently committed to Stephen F. Austin, Beckering is a six rotation outside who brings a great combo of size, athleticism, and skill to the court. She has proven herself against some of the best competition and consistently finds ways to make a huge impact. Whether she’s terminating balls, handling serve receive, or playing defense, she brings a steady presence to court and competes at a high level each and every time.

Avery Beckering was one of the top standouts of the day from the left pin. Her approach was explosive, her contact high, and her swing aggressive. She attacked seams and tooled blocks rather than swinging blindly, showing both power and control.
She balanced serve receive responsibilities without sacrificing offensive production. Beckering delivered termination when needed and maintained discipline in long rallies. That’s high-level outside play. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Beckering is energetic and fun to watch. She preps at Southwest Christian and had a great run into the state tournament. Beckering is a powerful 6 rotation OH that can be seen dropping dimes on serve receive and attacking from every spot on the court. In addition, she is very solid on defense. She was top of the leaderboard in both digs and blocking for her team. With all of her great skills, it is no wonder that Beckering is a go to player that teams to go in crucial moments and rely on to win big games.

Beckering is long and she jumps really well. When she connects with the ball you better have a block up to slow it down. Beckering is very smart with her attack choice and placement.
