Peterson impressed me every time I saw her this past fall. It seemed as though every time she stepped on the floor she was finding a way to level up her game. Peterson manages to read and adapt the opposing team and make the necessary adjustments to make it more challenging to score on her squad.

Peterson has been making some huge plays in the recent matches I have seen. She is lighting fast with her reactions and will get a hand on every tip made to her half of the court. Peterson fights to protect her deep corner and is an active communicator.

I can’t talk about awesome communicators without mentioning Peterson. She was constantly talking on the court and cheering when she was off the court. Players were feeding off her energy and it was raising the level of play wherever she went.

Peterson’s energy and communication alone make her a gamechanger in a match. She just seems like she is always ready for what’s coming next and nothing surprises her. Peterson also does a really nice job controlling a hard driven ball and making it a settable ball that her team can terminate. As a defender she just seems to push the boundaries of her position enough to solidify her status as a high level bro.
