Nevaeh wants to see how her team responds when it’s tested. “I want us to play together, stay confident, and show what we can do as a team,” she said.

Blocking and aggression at the net are her signature, backed by a high volleyball IQ that helps her make the right decisions in the moment. She’s working on becoming a more versatile hitter this season, refining her footwork and timing so she can score in more than one way.

She stays ready even when the ball isn’t coming to her, closing the block, covering her hitters, and communicating, the kind of effort that doesn’t always show up on a stat sheet but matters every time she’s on the floor.

She’s building her list and actively reaching out to coaches as she works toward playing in college.

Outside of volleyball, she volunteers at her church’s cafe most Sundays she’s not playing, and her family jokes that she’s the nosy one, in the best way, because she genuinely cares about the people around her.
