Winners of two of the last three Class 5A State Titles, the Wolves are developing high-end talent on their freshman, sophomore and junior varsity teams. De Bruin spent this last season honing her skills on the JV during the varsity’s championship run. From what she showed at the Iowa Impact Invitational earlier this month, the ability to contribute the top squad during the next few campaigns is present. De Bruin helped Impact reach the 16U Gold Bracket at the event. She’s a long-limbed, athletic performer in the middle of the net. The block is probably ahead of the attack right now. Timing and leaping ability contribute to positive results in that aspect of the game. De Bruin can end points with a chance for more improvement in the area through reps.
