Expert Analysis
Bob Abels | Prep Dig Scout
As usual, there was a shortage of middles at the frosh showcase in August so it was easy to watch them all perform. I saw a little of Charlotte at the Nationals but at the showcase she appeared to show another level. The challenge for middles is if the passing struggles the middles become invisible.
That excellence at the frosh showcase seemed to carry over into her season with Annapolis Area Christian where she led her team in kills. What was even more impressive is that she also led her team in digs, which means they either used the libero for another position or she played some at the pins. It does show she has the versatility to play back row.

Charlotte won a top performer award at our Prep Dig frosh showcase. She also plays middle for Maryland Juniors. Currently she ranks number 20 in our class of 2028.
For her high school Charlotte leads her school in kills, digs and serve reception. This tells me she may be playing some left side. She hits the ball in the middle well. Playing outside adds to her versatility.

She teams with Abisola Adeyemo Abisola Adeyemo 5'11" | MB Annapolis Area Christian | 2028 State VA as the middle for both Maryland Juniors and Annapolis Area Christian. Currently, Charlotte appears to be the dominate force at the high school level. She leads the team in kills, digs and serve receptions. This tells me she may be playing some left side for her high school. At 5’11’ she brings some good height to the court, especially if used as an outside.
Charlotte debuts at number 20 in our class of 2028.
