Danica is excited to showcase the strong connection she has built with her team, aiming to make every situation work as a setter. Whether adjusting to keep blockers guessing or keeping things simple in a scrappy game, her goal is to run a dynamic offense with high energy and focus throughout the tournament. She’s preparing by prioritizing healthy eating, sleep (especially naps), and putting full effort into each rep leading up to the first game.

This season, Danica has made significant improvements, particularly in running a faster offense and making smarter decisions. Her footwork has become more efficient, allowing her to set with consistency, even in out-of-system situations. As a leader, she’s become more vocal and taken control of the court, especially in transitioning from defense to setting, staying composed under pressure.

What stands out to college coaches is Danica’s composure, energy, and leadership. She remains calm under pressure and is quick to make decisions that put her hitters in a position to succeed. Her leadership extends off the court, as she checks in with teammates after each play, using small gestures like a longer high-five to build trust and keep the team connected.
