Breeze said she’s using club season to become more adaptable to different setters and it is paying off. Breeze makes smooth transitions from defense to offense. Breeze makes good mid-air adjustments to tip over blockers. She places balls where her teammates tell her. She can angle balls off blockers and out of bounds for big points. Defensively, Breeze an adjust to balls changing directions after clipping the net for good first touches. Described as kind, energetic and fun by teammates and close ones, Breeze has a sound platform on defense.

Breeze took solid swings per usual. But her defense is an underrated part of her game. CAL had luck shoving balls to the opposite shallow parts of the court early in the game. However, Breeze and her teammates picked up on that and took that away from the Centurions. Breeze also had some big serves in the five-set win for the Valkyries. Breeze had 10 kills, five aces and three digs for Rowan County. Breeze said teams will continue to do things like that if defenses are not able to stop them.

Breeze (pictured) said she will do whatever the coaching staff at Rowan County and her club need her to do to help the teams succeed. Breeze has nice ball control, putting them off blockers and away from defensive specialists for big points. Breeze has a good platform to make good first passes and start up the offense. Breeze also gives teams problems with her sound serves.

Breeze has worked on improving her offensive rhythm during club season and it should pay off this fall. Breeze does a good job with her ball placement. She hits balls away from defenders and off blockers well. Breeze also did a good job passing and serving her freshman year. Breeze said she wants to be more available for all positions on the court. Breeze pounded down 236 kills to go with 192 digs and 43 aces for the Valkyries last fall.

Breeze is blossoming as a six-rotation player for the LUV 55 Black team. She takes nice smooth swings to get balls past blockers, not rushing things. Breeze is a fundamentally sound hitter. Breeze also provides the team with timely blocks and sound passing in the back row.

Breeze turned into a nice option for the Vikings under new head coach Taylor Dixon as a freshman. Breeze is creative in finding different ways to put balls down. She can sending standing shots off blockers and down and put enough power into balls to send them to the back row. Breeze also brings value digging up balls and serving to Rowan County. Breeze had 236 kills, 192 digs and 43 aces, helping the Vikings go 21-10, win the 61st District championship and drive to the 16th Region semifinals.
