Austin Kingsley | Prep Dig Scout
Feeney was one of our favorite small-town 2025s to follow, particularly at the setter position. She earned state tournament experience as an underclassman and was never deterred by the bright lights of Pinnacle Bank Arena. This savvy setter also carried the South Central Volleyball Club banner and had several breakout performances on the regional stage. Feeney finished her prep career by rewriting Adams Central’s record books with nearly 2,800 assists.

Feeney is still making moves in the Class of 2025. She transitioned from a successful club season with South Central NE to our highly competitive showcase in La Vista. From there, it was off to Adams Central to continue leading a squad that is always in the postseason conversation. Even with so many different venues in play, Feeney has always delivered on the hype.

Her savvy distribution has guided the Patriots to another winning season, and it’s not hard to tell that Feeney has experience in some of Nebraska’s biggest events. We’ll see if another postseason appearance is in the works this fall.

Feeney is another one of Class C1’s adept distributors who led her team to a state tournament appearance last year. The rising junior averaged nine assists per set for Adams Central in 2022 and also demonstrated her strength in right-back defense. 2023 should offer more of the same.

Feeney has been on our 2025 radar for a while. She has established herself as one of Nebraska best small-town setters and has piloted Adams Central to multiple state tournament appearances. Feeney brings the same skill and intensity to South Central NE, a club that has begun to reach new heights in 2023.

Here’s a small-town setter that was long overdue for a boost in our rankings. Feeney has been instrumental in guiding Adams Central to repeat appearance in the state tournament. She’s been doing this as an underclassman, too, which is a testament to her maturity and poise under pressure. Perhaps will see a repeat performance in 2023 as Feeney takes on a leadership role as a junior.

South Central gets a shoutout in our final entry of this feature. Feeney is another small-town setter who saw some big-time volleyball last fall, as she helped Adams Central make yet another trip to Lincoln for postseason play. I’m excited to see this 2025 stock riser get another leadership opportunity on the club side.
