Why not make it a Norris DS duo from 17 Red? Piening held down a pivotal defensive role for Premier 17 Red this year as she gave backcourt relief to a variety of pin hitters. On the high school side, Piening has been a common sight in the Norris back row ever since her prep career began. We’ll see more of the same in 2024 as Piening and Norris look to capture that elusive Class B championship.
