About Ines

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay as calm and controlled, especially in tough situations. I rely on a high volleyball IQ to read the game, make smart decisions, and stay consistent under pressure.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m outgoing and supportive with my teammates, and I try to bring positive energy to the court. I also focus on helping the team push through difficult moments by staying encouraging and composed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I currently play for 1st Alliance on the 16 Silver team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through volleyball, I’ve developed strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as leadership qualities. I try to lead by example, stay disciplined, and always put the team’s success first.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is starting volleyball later than most players, at age 14 I was playing both basketball and volleyball. At age 15 I decided to focus on volleyball and join 1st Alliance and because of that, I’ve had to learn and improve quickly to keep up, and I’m still working hard to continue developing my skills and understanding of the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong volleyball program and a great team culture. Being part of a supportive, competitive environment where teammates push each other and work together is very important to me. I also want a program that will help me keep developing my skills and growing both as a player and as a person.

So much athleticism and physicality.  Ines Fischer Ines Fischer Ines Fischer 6'0" | OH/RS Lycée Français de Chicago | 2028 State IL will be one to watch for 1st Alliance 16 Silver where she is a 2028 pin hitter.  She plays mostly on the right side, but she can score points on the outside or right side.  There is a heavy swing that she brings to the court and can set a big block that the opposing outside hitter has to be aware of.  With her ability to score in multiple spots it really stresses the defense and opens things up for everyone on 16 Silver.
