Jordan Blahosky Jordan Blahosky DS/L Willmar | 2030 MN reads the game and plays ahead of it. She’s picking up cues, getting into position early, and taking clean angles to the ball. I see her stay composed under pressure and make the play that keeps the rally going instead of trying to do too much. There’s growing confidence in how she steps into seams and takes control of the floor.
What to watch this season: Look for her to take ownership of more court and become a leader in the back row.

Jordan Blahosky Jordan Blahosky DS/L Willmar | 2030 MN has emerged as one of the most disciplined defenders in her class. Her read-and-react instincts in the back row are exceptional, allowing her to anticipate tips, line shots, and cross-court swings with ease. Blahosky’s footwork is quick and efficient, keeping her balanced for clean digs in all rotations. What separates her is her serve-receive consistency — she absorbs pace, controls angles, and sets up her offense in system. Blahosky’s energy and communication anchor her team’s defensive effort every match. ~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Blahosky takes control of the court with her big plays and hustle. She is constantly reading plays and moving to cover wherever she needs to. Her quick feet and platform control allow her to tradition quickly into defense and pass any ball to its designated location. Blahosky has outstanding court awareness and follows the ball out to ensure her read is correct. Her loud communication creates opportunity for hustle plays and helping out the setter for out of system balls.

8th grade libero/ds Blahosky is not new to hefty competition. She played up 2 ages levels in the club season with Kandi Elite and it has prepared her for varsity volleyball. I remember watching her in the spring and was awe struck at how quick her read was on the ball as well as how good her serve receive was for such a young player, so it is not surprising that she would be on varsity as an 8th grader. Blahosky has risen to the occasion and is putting up huge numbers this season. She currently average 6.9 receptions/set and 3.3 digs/set at Willmar.

Blahosky is another player that is “playing up” multiple age levels on an elite squad. This 2030 libero is destined for great things. She has a quick read on the ball, fast first step, and creates great angles to pass efficiently off her midline. I often find that many teams target her in serve receive due to smaller size, however, they quickly alter that plan once they discover her pass rating is solid.
