The 1st Alliance 16 Silver outside hitter is making a major splash on the radar. I was able to see her recently at the Prep Dig Gauntlet where she has a really high contact point and active arm. I also think there is a big upside to her game with her length and overall athleticism. Her 16 Silver team is one to watch where they have plenty of 2028s who will be solid players at the next level.

Seeing Katelyn Beirne Katelyn Beirne 6'0" | OH/RS Mother McAuley | 2028 State IL for 1st Alliance 16 Silver was impressive at the Prep Dig Gauntlet. Not only was she impressive over the weekend, but you could see an upside to her game where her best volleyball is ahead of her. She has the length and athleticism to build upon where with her high contact point she was able to hit some insane angles. She was an option to score in every rotation. She was impressive out of middle back as well where she knew how to hit to the deep corner. 1st Alliance 16 White has over 60 wins on the season and will be ones to watch in Indy.

Katelyn Beirne Katelyn Beirne 6'0" | OH/RS Mother McAuley | 2028 State IL of 1st Alliance 15 Silver really jumped out (quite literally) for the club out of Chicagoland. She is a six rotation outside hitter who brings a lot of length and athleticism to the court. This team uses her in multiple ways to attack where she is an outlet on the pin, but can also score out of the back court and a two ball out of the middle. She has a high reach and can find the deep corners. Beirne preps at Mother McAuley and is accustomed to solid year round training at a high level between her high school and club ball. She is definitely one to have on the radar for the Class of 2028.
