I’ve been able to see Jayce Prohaska Jayce Prohaska 6'0" | OH Mother McAuley | 2027 State IL on the club courts for 1st Alliance the past couple seasons. Such a dynamic and electric outside hitter who can find ways to score points from anywhere along the front line.  Her 1st Alliance 17 Silver team will utilize her in various routes where she will swing out the middle and right side, but her go to is being able to score on the outside.  She is fast to the ball, contacts high, and is able to use her angles as well as going line.  She is trained at a high level with 1A and prepping for Mother McAuley who is always one of top high school programs in the state. 

I’ve seen Jayce Prohaska Jayce Prohaska 6'0" | OH Mother McAuley | 2027 State IL play before and it was fun to see her again for 1st Alliance 16 Silver this past weekend.  This 16 Silver team is part of a loaded 16s group from 1st Alliance where their top three teams have earned a USA or National bid.  This must be quite the gym when it comes to practice time.  Prohaska has length and athleticism where she can pass and transition to score points.  This group knows how to compete against a high level and will definitely be a threat at USAV in Dallas. 

Jayce Prohaska Jayce Prohaska 6'0" | OH Mother McAuley | 2027 State IL is a pure point scorer for 1st Alliance 16 Silver, I was able to watch this team on the “big court” where they advanced out of pool play, won their challenge match, and finished among the best teams in the 16s field.  Prohaska had the ability to score points on the outside and the right side where she has great approach angles to give herself an open look.  She is able to make high contact with the ball and is very efficient.  The upside to her game is very exciting!  

Prohaska takes a big swing on the ball without hesitation. She puts some serious oompf behind the ball. Prohaska was really driving her team in 3rd set situations which takes some real guts. Then she was showing off her ability to put a roof on the opposing attackers for good measure.
