About Luisa

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play as a loud, energetic libero and I try to bring constant communication and of course positivity to the court. I’m always talking and hyping up my teammates especially during tough moments. My priority is staying quick and consistent on defense, and being someone my team can rely on for energy, effort, and encouragement during and after every point.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a positive, resilient mentality and bring a lot of energy wherever I go. I’ve worked a lot on staying focused under pressure and how to communicate confidently. I really take pride is always trying to lift my teammates up. I would consider myself a very coachable kid who tries to apply feedback quickly and I’m very hardworking and don’t break easily.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout the years becoming a leader has been one of the things at the top of my list. My goal every time I’m in practice and at tournaments is to of course improve my gameplay but I personally find it very important to make sure my teammates feel supported and I try to encourage them the way I would want to be encouraged and even go above and beyond that.
