Lyman has made significant strides in her development as a setter, seeing court time running a 6-2 with NPJ Portland 16-1 National. Her technical range has expanded, and she now distributes the ball with more confidence and consistency. She does a great job feeding the pins and has shown steady ball placement under pressure. Defensively, she holds down right back, keeping plays alive and delivering quality out-of-system balls to keep the offense moving.

Lyman showcased her impressive setting skills from the very start of the Top 250 showcase, immediately capturing our attention with her ability to move her feet efficiently and position herself well to get her hands on the ball. On an in-system pass, her setting technique displayed a smooth and consistent rhythm, allowing her hitters to find their timing and execute effectively. Additionally, Lyman’s defensive coverage from the right-back position was solid, demonstrating both awareness and reliability in keeping plays alive

Lyman worked hard in setting drills on Saturday during the showcase. Lyman displayed great placement on her back sets and did a nice job pushing sets to the left pin. She also played solid defense.
