Makayla plays for one of the consistently best programs in all of 4A volleyball here in Indianapolis. She’s a compact, six-rotation outside that has explosiveness to burn from the first whistle to the last. Although her size isn’t in the range of top Division 1 outsides, she still has massive ability and athleticism that more than makes up for it.

With heavy pace on the ball and strong serve receive skills, Makayla will be a steal for anyone looking for a six-rotation outside for the next level. Already accustomed to high-end play at both the high school and club levels, Miss Moulton is an underrated outside that coaches covet because she does all of the little things well, and without a lot of coaxing from the coaching staff. She does her job, does it well, and can be coached up to get the job done. She’s a nice departure from the average outside hitter here in Indiana—-no nonsense, no flash, no “look at me” vibes. Smaller schools will find Makayla as someone you build a program around.

Small but mighty, Makayla is yet another that has solid training in both the fall and the spring. She even got poached from the clutches of Munciana—-whose main club is located in Yorktown. Quick, compact and explosive, Makayla is a prime example of a six-rotation outside that will be massively successful at a small college in the fall of ‘27. Her ability to pass-to-attack at an elite level is her calling card, and will be a main factor in her recruitment moving forward for the remainder of her club and high school career.

On the other pin for PHP’s 16-1 is a Munciana transfer that hits a heavy ball and is a tough one to defend. She might be a bit undersized at this position, but Makayla more than makes up for it with the strength she puts behind the ball on the attack. Smart when she needs to be and lethal when in-system, Miss Moulton is a great complement to Sarah on the left pin and will be a primary attacker for Yorktown for the forseeable future.
