Here comes the Omaha Fusion crew again. Humann got plenty of reps with last year’s Omaha Roadrunners crew, finishing with seven assists per set and a wealth of quality digs around the dial. Her unique Roadrunners team put up some impressive numbers last fall, and Humann is applying this to the Nebraska Juniors gym, too. Omaha Fusion landed on our radar after a strong outing at the ASICS Presidents’ Day Classic, so we were eager to see these athletes compete on the bid tournament stage. Humann seized the moment to lock up a bid and send Fusion to the USAV Nationals field. Stocks will keep rising in Indy.

There’s that Omaha Fusion unit again. We’ve had a lot to say about this group since seeing it at the GPR Bid Tournament, and Humann has clearly been a worthy addition to the fold. She plays around the dial at the setter spot and has the full toolbox for a 5-1 distributor. Aside from her ability to put hitters in good spots, Humann is a strong wing blocker who won’t bring any deficit to Fusion’s net presence. That versatility will turn into on-court value at USAV Nationals.
