Juliet was so impressive today. She picked up some amazing balls in coverage and was so quick across the court. Wherever she was needed, she was there. She split libero responsibilities in the match I saw with Addy Abramowski Addy Abramowski 5'6" | DS/L Wisconsin Lutheran | 2028 State WI , who also did an excellent job as a leader in the back row. Juliet’s speed, footwork, and clean angles really set her apart today, playing defense and in coverage against some of the top teams in the nation.

Only just completing her first year of high school, Newton is already turning heads on the court with her quick movements, great angles, and passion and grit needed in a backcourt boss. Juliet first caught my eye in serve receive, but later, I was impressed with her defense as well. She is an athlete who is the whole package as a DS/L. She is efficient in her movement and hopped into any drill and could run the back row.
