I was able to watch Kinder this summer and quickly learned that she is not only a talented setter, but also a fierce competitor and a great teammate. She brings energy to the court and finds ways to impact the game beyond just running the offense. That has already been evident during her freshman season at Cretin-Derham Hall, where she leads the team with 18 aces while also adding 43 digs and 27 assists. Kinder is a well rounded player who competes hard, contributes in multiple areas, and continues to show why she is a player to keep an eye on in the Class of 2030.

Kinder is the complete package when it comes to setters. She doesn’t play like an incoming freshman. She has the ability to do it all while running the offense whether it is pushing it to the pins, reversing the ball against the flow, getting all of her attackers involved, or throwing in some well timed setter dumps. For a setter this young, her volleyball IQ and court awareness are impressive. She sees the game well, makes smart decisions, and has the skill set to continue developing into an elite level setter.
