At 6’0″ Sydney has the height to impact a game in the middle. With her six blocks this gives her a team leading 1.3 blocks per set.

Sydney plays behind a couple seniors who play middle for Loudoun County. Next year the position should be hers to fill. Got my first opportunity to watch her play in the last set against Heritage. She has some velocity on her serves but they lack accuracy. In16 serves she has scored 10 points with three errors. In a small sample size that means less than 20% of her serves result in a side out. With more repetitions she could be dangerous.
She also hits the ball pretty hard in the middle. In the fourth set against Heritage she finished with at least two kills. For Paramount last year she played down on the 14 team.

Another watch list player who climbed to number 64 in our class of 2027 rankings. She plays down for a talented Paramount 14 team. She stands 6’0″ now so her approach jump of 9’4″ may be a little greater. I have not watched a lot of 14s yet so most of what I have seen of her has been through video.
