About Zoë
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m more of a quiet leader — I focus on leading through effort, consistency, and staying calm under pressure. I like to help my team move past mistakes quickly and keep our energy steady. I may not be the loudest voice, but I’m always tuned in, supportive, and focused on what helps the team succeed.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m more of an introvert, which I see as a strength. It helps me stay composed, read the game well, and lead by example through effort and positive energy that keeps my teammates steady.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’ve always tried to stay involved in and outside of sports. I was in the Junior Honor Society and did volunteer work through that, and I’ve earned a few academic awards along the way. I used to play elite travel soccer before shifting my focus to volleyball, which taught me a lot about discipline and team dynamics.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
When my club needed me to play middle for two seasons, I stepped up and learned the position, then transitioned to outside hitter last year. When our back row struggled, I shifted to right side and filled in wherever the team needed me most. At my high school tryouts, I wasn’t a standout in just one position — but that experience taught me how valuable adaptability and consistency are.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I’m a versatile, coachable player who’s played middle, outside, and right side based on team needs. Missing my high school team as a freshman taught me resilience and motivated me to work harder. I’m passionate about volleyball, interior design, business, and real estate, and want a college where I can grow both as an athlete and a student.
What type of college are you looking for?
Volleyball is a big part of who I am, and I’m excited to keep playing in college at a competitive but supportive level. I’m interested in interior design, business, and real estate, and I want a school that encourages me to succeed on the court and in the classroom.
