Bass is a multi-position standout who can churn out highlight moments while playing up a year. That’s impressive enough, but Bass has exhibited steady improvement at every stage of her prep journey. She is a past star on the Prep Dig Circuit who brings firepower and versatility to the Banzai VBC 17 Power offense. Bass thrives in front of the setter, but she can also tee off at the opposite position if needed. Local venues have offered further proof of how far Banzai VBC’s 2028s have soared in recent months.

Multi-position frontcourt stars are nothing new in the Banzai VBC gym. Bass has vast experience in the middle and on the right side, giving Banzai VBC 17 Power plenty of lineup options to consider. That versatility made Bass a quick standout at past Prep Dig Showcase events, so we’re not surprised to see her excelling with 17 Power. Her performance at the Great Plains Region Gold Series was the perfect prelude to another fruitful campaign in Minneapolis.

Banzai VBC has a knack for producing middle-opposite hybrids who can terminate anywhere along the net. Bass was an effective scorer at our showcases and established connections with almost every setter at the event. She has had a busy club slate with Banzai VBC 15 Select, which included a few qualifier trips and several weekends of regional action. Bass is well-prepared for whatever stage the club circuit can produce.

We’re checking in on the next wave of Banzai VBC talent. Banzai VBC 15 Select is aiming high in the 15 USA division and will bring a wealth of frontcourt terminators to the fray. Bass was a standout at one of our prior Prep Dig Showcase events and can be effective in the middle or on the right side. Regardless of position, Bass’ physicality will be worth watching as we assess Nebraska’s up-and-coming 2028s.

Bass gives us some Banzai VBC influence for this feature. This hardworking athlete put in plenty of quality reps at our Top 250 Expo and shined as a middle and an opposite. Middle blockers were outnumbered at that event, which allowed Bass to churn out highlight moments as a frontcourt mainstay. We were drawn to Bass’ quick footwork in transition and her ability to terminate whether in front of the setter or behind. Watch that range flourish during the club season.

Banzai VBC is coming off an exceptional 2024 season and can build around players like Bass for future success. This Papio South freshman made an early case for our 2028 watch list after exhibiting a broad skill set at our Top 250 Expo. Bass has a knack for generating positive block touches at the net, setting up her teammates for transition opportunities.
