2025 Uncommitted Setters: Deep Dive

The juniors in the class of 2025 will be headed into an integral period of in-person evaluation by college coaches as programs clarify their position and class needs. The Tahoma Bears benefited from having Foote run the offense from the back row allowing another terrific 2025 setter, Annikah Wright to take swings from the pin. Tahoma battled their way into the state tournament behind Foote's solid set location, enthusiasm and toughness on defense. The junior shows tremendous footwork moving to balls past the 10 foot line, pivoting smoothly off one leg and delivering a money ball to her pins to terminate. A super high dig does not stop Mairs in any way from making the best possible set to any place on the court, she has the strength and touch to deliver any pass on target for her attackers. She is creative as a setter as well, dishing from awkward and unexpected angles if that's what it takes to find a good option- and having vision and smarts to know where that option is located.
