As the club season is well under way, here are five of Ohio's top 15U teams (in no particular order):

[program_tooltip program_id='430852' first='Tri-State' last='Elite'] 15 Blue
The highest finishing Ohio-based team at Triple Crown at 13th overall, this team also finished 3rd at Central Zones. Size is a big factor for this group with four prospects at 6'0 or higher and another three just shy of that mark. A big strength is the presence of middle [player_tooltip player_id='434971' first='Jillian' last='Forrest'], one of the elite prospects in this class. She touches over 10' and uses all of her physical tools to make an impressive impact on both sides of the ball. They also get length and big lift in the middle from Teegan Becker and [player_tooltip player_id='480837' first='Charley' last='Moeddel']. [player_tooltip player_id='582224' first='Penelope' last='Reisman'] is the primary setter with good size of her own at 5'10 and a solid skill foundation in her distribution. Pin hitters [player_tooltip player_id='480821' first='Maisie' last='Jones'] and [player_tooltip player_id='480838' first='Makenna' last='Meibers'] see a lot of action on the left side and both have a bright future as primary point scoring options. They will next compete at Bluegrass.

Mintonette m.51
With a 5th place finish at Central Zones this team showcased the depth of offense they have around the floor led by the distribution of a good setter in [player_tooltip player_id='474086' first='Kelsie' last='Smith']. As most Mintonette top teams feature good fundamental arm work, length, and ability to swing aggressively with control and range, this 15U team follows suit well. Pins [player_tooltip player_id='480860' first='Isabella' last='Borgio'] and [player_tooltip player_id='759642' first='Kadence' last='Goolsby'] can create a high rate of success at the pins. Borgio can elevate and bring a lot of pace to score through the full scope of the opponent's court. Goolsby has good length at 6'0 on the right side and can get up and over the block often at each pin. The athletic [player_tooltip player_id='480858' first='Queen' last='Beard'] and the big arm of [player_tooltip player_id='480805' first='Kamryn' last='Cocherl'] can provide steady presence in the middle. Their upcoming events include a stretch of qualifying opportunities, next in Florida.

[program_tooltip program_id='431827' first='Elevation' last=''] 15 Tony
Runner-up at Central Zones, this team finished 45th overall at Triple Crown among a top field. [player_tooltip player_id='480817' first='Kendall' last='Hubbard'] is the standout for this team with her athleticism and complete skill set. She is one of the top setters so far in this 2027 Ohio class. Her ability to distribute balanced offense is triggered a lot by the floor presence of libero [player_tooltip player_id='435871' first='Ali' last='Strange'] and the stability she provides in the first-touch aspects. Some of the key arms include middle [player_tooltip player_id='481208' first='Jillian' last='Turvey'] who has good ability to score off one foot, pin hitter [player_tooltip player_id='480794' first='Morgan' last='Meiring'] who brings good length and range, and [player_tooltip player_id='480832' first='Kylie' last='George'] who can elevate well at 5'9. Their next event is Bluegrass.
