Here is a look at the best performances of the 17 teams and players from Day One of the Pacific North West Qualifier. This combination of teams from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho was impressive—and so were the players who powered them.

In the Open Division, these three 17 teams can advance to the Gold Bracket on day two.

3-0, Idaho Crush 17 Bower. If you can watch this team play, get to the Podium in Spokane and take it in. OH Bellamie Beus is a commit to the University of Kentucky and is as good a player as there is in the Western part of the country. Brooklyn Hardy is a difference maker in the middle, and the team plays together and knows how to bear down and win a close match.

2-1, SIVBC 17 Storm. Sudden Impact 17 Storm went toe-to-toe with Madfrog 17 Green National, dropping a three-set battle 25-18,21-25,13-15. [player_tooltip player_id='243688' first='Jasmine' last='Terry'] is playing incredibly confidently; the high-flying pin is terminating at a high level and playing focused defense across the front line. Her kills got Sudden Impact hyped early against Madfrog. SIVBC battled until the end, with [player_tooltip player_id='243691' first='Emma' last='Gutke'] and [player_tooltip player_id='364043' first='Julianne' last='Lee'] delivering big kills late in set three to keep the pressure on Madfrog.

2-1, CPA 17 Benson. CPA Benson dropped their first match against an outstanding Vision 17 squad, then rattled off two straight wins to finish pool play. [player_tooltip player_id='497164' first='Zoe' last='Galbreath'] dealt out of her setter spot versus Dallas Skyline 17 Royal-Paxton; she consistently earned one-ups for her hitters and had a terrific floor game. Middle [player_tooltip player_id='558809' first='Gianna' last='Callari'] was a force as a blocker and attacker. The Idaho standout is athletic and powerful, playing big at 6'0" and powering down the slide attack against terrific competition.

2-1, NPJ Salem 17 National. Against Top Flight Volleyball Academy 17 National Black, NPJ Salem rolled out a big front line featuring [player_tooltip player_id='290227' first='Shaylee' last='Stephen'] in the middle and Quinn Pederson on the right side. The two Camas players made life difficult for the Top Flight attackers, and OH Sadie Ross scored on a nifty middle assist set from Stephen during a first-set run. Ross and fellow OH Emma Brewer attack out of a fast-tempo offense, and defenses must be set and ready to deal with their speed and power arms.

Several PNW teams advanced to the upper division in the USA Division, remaining in the hunt for a title at the PNQ.

3-0, NPJ Seattle National 17. One of two PNW teams posting a perfect record in 17 USA on the day, the NPJ Seattle team had to battle against a game NPJ Portland squad in a three-set victory. [player_tooltip player_id='310798' first='Jaslynn' last='Daily'] was strong from the service line and defensively in the decisive third set. Elaine Fareti-Tuatoo is an outstanding all-around player; the OH takes big swings for NPJ and plays all the way around. She consistently betters the ball as a defender and has a powerful swing on the pin. Libero [player_tooltip player_id='575827' first='Anna' last='Ng'] passed nails in the third set, helping keep the team in system and eventually roll to the win over NPJ Portland.

3-0, Club South 17 Carolina. Club South handled their business on day one in a convincing fashion. Alyssa Ryckman plays a hustling, acrobatic back row; she is an excellent athlete and solid attacker on the pin. Libero Taylin Everingham is quick and skilled in the back row, and the two middles, [player_tooltip player_id='497162' first='Teagan' last='Schroeder'] and Millie Kettrick worked hard to close every block.

2-1, Excel NW 17 Lux. [player_tooltip player_id='497163' first='Alina' last='Shawgo'] delivered kills in almost every way possible for her Excel NW team. Hard angle, down the line, hammers off the block; she has all the shots. She even mixed in a bump kill out of the back row versus DVVC 17 in a 2-0 Apex sweep. On the right side, [player_tooltip player_id='539198' first='Emma' last='Moffitt'] was powering swings through and down the front of blockers, she give Apex a strong attacker opposite Shawgo.

2-1, [program_tooltip program_id='747679' first='Emerald' last='Rain'] 17 Elite. Libero [player_tooltip player_id='251023' first='Elaina' last='Duong'] is outstanding in serve receive, covers her hitters, and plays with consistent, steady leadership for [program_tooltip program_id='747679' first='Emerald' last='Rain']. In an exceptional second-set comeback against Colorado Skyline 17 Royal, [player_tooltip player_id='243702' first='Kate' last='Danielson'] put down critical kills, Duong was money from the service line, and S/RS [player_tooltip player_id='251032' first='Samantha' last='Humphrey'] played an excellent all-around game.

2-1, CRUVBC 17 Max. The addition of senior [player_tooltip player_id='250406' first='Kailey' last='Willsey'] is a difference-maker for CRU 17 Max. Willsey is headed to CWU next fall, and even though she is young enough for 17U, she plays a mature power game in the middle. She created enormous problems for other middles as a blocker and attacker. [player_tooltip player_id='450025' first='Breven' last='Luinstra'] dialed it up in the match versus Apex NW; she was swinging high and ripping kills to the seam and the angle.

2-1, Apex NW 17 Summit. Setter [player_tooltip player_id='484727' first='Brooklyn' last='Larrabee'] finds ways to get her hands to the ball and delivers quality sets no matter where she is on the court. UW verbal commit [player_tooltip player_id='251030' first='Rian' last='Stephan'] is a skilled and explosive player on the pin. Her excellent length and ability to score will be fun to watch at the next level.

2-1, NPJ Portland 17 National. OH [player_tooltip player_id='249592' first='Addie' last='Cameron'] has one of the more explosive arm swings in the WA 2026 class. She is a relentless attacker and loves to attack the block with her cannon of an arm. She was excellent against NPJ Seattle 17 National, and her Washington teammates also contributed to the win. [player_tooltip player_id='486987' first='Lillian' last='Zarzana'] was steady in the middle, and NPJ Portland worked to get her swings from the pins. She is a consistent blocker. DS [player_tooltip player_id='573350' first='Tatum' last='Nelson'] was tough from the service line and hustled to track down every swing and tip during her back-row rotations.

Here is a look at the best performances of the 17 teams and players from Day One of the Pacific North West Qualifier. This combination of teams from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho was impressive—and so were the players who powered them.
