Rising Stars Set to Shine at UA Next Volleyball Camp

On May 23, 2025, Rancho Santa Margarita, California, will welcome some of the most promising young volleyball talent in the country for the UA Next Volleyball Camp. This exclusive, invite-only event powered by Under Armour brings together top middle and high school athletes for elite-level training, national exposure, and high-stakes competition. For athletes in the Class of 2026, it also presents the opportunity to earn a coveted Golden Ticket to the UA All-America Volleyball Game in Florida.   For members of the Class of 2028, this invitation carries even deeper meaning. These athletes are entering what is widely considered the most pivotal year in the recruitment process, and now they are doing so with a major honor already added to their resumes. Fresh off their developmental freshman season, these rising sophomores have shown they are ahead of the curve and ready for the spotlight.   I connected with eight of these standout players to hear their thoughts heading into camp. They shared what they are most excited to showcase, what this invitation means to them, and who they would bring along if given the chance. They also created fun and personal taglines they would use for their camp highlights.   Let's meet the 2028 athletes who are ready to make a statement.<a href="https://prepdig.com/player/camble-booth/"> </a>      <h3 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">"What's an All Star on a team of All Stars!"</h3>   [player_tooltip player_id='515402' first='Janiah' last='Burrage'], an outside hitter from Forza1 16ONE, is ready to bring her passion and athleticism to the court at the UA Next Volleyball Camp. She is most excited for the chance to show how much she loves the game and how her physical abilities can make an impact. This opportunity is something she has been looking forward to for years. Watching past camps and seeing the level of talent brought together only made her more motivated to be part of it.   Now that her moment has arrived, Janiah is focused on making the most of it. She hopes to continue growing in the game and earning invitations to future UA Next events, with the long-term goal of competing in the UA All-America Game. For her, this camp is not just a highlight, it is a step toward her bigger dreams.   If she could bring one teammate to experience this with her, it would be [player_tooltip player_id='517840' first='Evie' last='Pool']. Janiah values the effort and consistency Evie brings to the court. As a middle blocker, Evie plays with intensity and heart, and Janiah believes she deserves to be recognized for the hard work she puts in every day. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     <h3 class="wp-block-heading text-gray-700">"Fuel the Fire, Find the Glory"</h3>   [player_tooltip player_id='537526' first='Saylor' last='Halvorsen'], an outside hitter from [program_tooltip program_id='510736' first='Sports' last='Academy'] 15 Premier, is looking forward to the unique experience that the UA Next Volleyball Camp offers. For her, the most exciting part of the showcase is the chance to meet new players, form connections, and see how different personalities and playing styles come together. She's curious to see how she fits in with athletes she's never played with before and views it as a chance to grow, both on and off the court. More than just competition, she sees this camp as an opportunity to turn opponents into future teammates and social media followers into real supporters.   For Saylor, being invited to this camp is a meaningful reminder that all the hard work she has done outside of regular practice is being recognized. The extra hours in the weight room, the ice baths, and the private lessons are all part of the investment she has made in her development. As a newer athlete in the sport, she has focused heavily on being coachable, and this camp is an ideal platform for her to demonstrate how effectively she can absorb feedback and apply new techniques in a high-level setting. For Amara, it is not just about performing well, it is about showing her potential for growth and her commitment to learning at an accelerated pace.   Receiving an invitation to the UA Next Volleyball Camp is a powerful affirmation of the dedication Amara has poured into her development over the past two years. It signifies that her hard work as an outside hitter is being recognized beyond her club team and reflects her upward trajectory. All in."</h3>   [player_tooltip player_id='507975' first='Ellouisa' last='Quiel'], a middle blocker from Sunshine 15 LA, is excited to showcase her devotion to volleyball both on and off the court. She brings a contagious energy that she believes sets her apart, and she looks forward to sharing that spark with the athletes and coaches at the UA Next Volleyball Camp. For Ellouisa, it is about more than just performance, it is about bringing her full self into every moment and inspiring others through her passion for the game.   Being invited to this camp is a meaningful milestone in her volleyball journey. It reflects how far she has come as a player and reinforces the growth she has experienced through hard work and dedication. She feels truly honored to be included among such a strong group of high-performing athletes and is eager to make the most of this opportunity. Ellouisa describes Ashton as the most insane opposite she has ever played with, someone who not only matches her energy but helps elevate her game. She looks forward to putting her preparation into action in a competitive, game-like environment and testing herself alongside some of the best players in the country. For Devyn, this camp is a chance to bring her growth to the court and see how her hard work translates under pressure.   Beyond competition, she sees this event as a valuable opportunity to build connections with other talented athletes. She is excited to challenge herself while also supporting others, pushing not only her own limits but helping elevate the energy and performance of those around her. With exposure to new experiences and future possibilities, Devyn is ready to make the most of every moment.   She's also thrilled that her high school teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='475518' first='Daniele' last='Clewis'], was invited to the camp as well, giving her a familiar face in a high-level setting. If she could bring one more teammate, it would be [player_tooltip player_id='480172' first='Grace' last='Kelley'], who plays with her at both the club and high school level. Devyn admires Grace for her explosiveness, leadership, and the way she consistently pushes the team to be their best. Whether through encouragement or effort, Grace brings the kind of energy that makes every practice, and every player, better. ~ Michelle Bamford @Coachable247     [player_tooltip player_id='580631' first='Kendall' last='Stark'], a setter from San Clemente Volleyball Club, is looking forward to showcasing her communication, decision-making, and leadership at the UA Next Volleyball Camp. She takes pride in her consistency and court presence and is excited to step into a competitive environment where she can guide the flow of play and connect with new teammates at a high level.   For Kendall, receiving an invitation to this camp is a major milestone. She sees it as a chance to grow and compete alongside elite players while also putting her leadership skills to the test. Rising above the net at the UA Next Camp."</h3>   [player_tooltip player_id='486486' first='Malie' last='Ogbechie'], an outside hitter from [program_tooltip program_id='510736' first='Sports' last='Academy'] Volleyball Club, is ready to show the full scope of her game at the UA Next Volleyball Camp. While her power, vertical, and tough serve are often noticed first, Malie is most excited to highlight her defensive skills, court awareness, and the value she brings as a teammate. She has put in the work to become a steady contributor in serve receive, a hustler in middle back, and a consistent blocker against pin hitters.   Focused and self-driven, Malie takes pride in being a disciplined student-athlete. She is intentional in her pursuit of both academic and athletic excellence and sees this camp as a key step toward her goal of playing volleyball at a highly competitive collegiate program. Being invited to compete among top high school players reinforces the milestones she is reaching in pursuit of that goal.   If she could bring someone with her, Malie would choose one of her two brothers. Their support, humor, and energy always help her stay relaxed and motivated during intense moments.
